The technique
A cold bond, cured in a few seconds.
It is designed for hair salons and extension professionals who want a fast, clean technique, particularly on fine hair and in visible areas such as the front hairline, the fringe or the sides.
Traditional keratin is applied at 160 to 200°C. EHE LIGHT™ adhesive cures at room temperature under the light of the device.

Apply the adhesive
With the needle-type applicator tip, place a drop 2 to 3 mm across, 1 to 1.5 cm from the scalp.

Cure under the light
The 395 nm device is held within 1 cm: 6 to 8 seconds above and 6 to 8 below.

Blend
The extension is cut and styled together with the natural hair for an invisible transition.

- Black and Clear adhesive 20 g: for dark and light hair, with a tapered needle-type applicator tip.
- 2 × EHE LIGHT™ removal solution 30 ml: precision dropper bottle; each bottle covers about 3 full heads.

- Use only EHE LIGHT™ adhesive with the EHE LIGHT™ device: never nail lamps or adhesives not formulated for hair.
- Point the light only at the bond and avoid exposing the eyes and skin, as described in the manual.
- Removal is carried out by a professional using the EHE LIGHT™ method, never by pulling on the strand.
- Do a patch test first if the client has a sensitive scalp or a history of reactions to adhesives.
Home care
- Gentle shampoo, without heavy oils; avoid conditioner and treatments close to the bonds.
- Brush while holding the root, without pulling on the strands.
- Dry the bond area thoroughly after washing.
- Salon maintenance cycle every 6 to 8 weeks to remove and reapply.

What are UV hair extensions?
They are extensions attached to the natural hair with a light-sensitive adhesive that hardens under UV light. EHE LIGHT™ is a professional system of this kind: the bond forms cold, in a few seconds, and stays small and flexible.
Do UV extensions damage the hair?
Application is done at room temperature, without the 160 to 200°C of keratin or metal rings. Removal combines the EHE LIGHT™ removal solution with controlled heat at 120°C. As with any adhesive system, the result depends on professional application and correct removal.
How long do EHE LIGHT™ UV extensions last?
The bond lasts up to 2 months, with a recommended maintenance cycle of 6 to 8 weeks to remove and reapply. The actual duration depends on the hair type, the area of application and home care.
Can they be applied to fine hair?
Yes. This is one of the main uses of the EHE LIGHT™ system, because the bond is minimal and light, including on the front hairline and the fringe.
What is the difference between EHE LIGHT™ and keratin?
Keratin is melted with a clamp at 160 to 200°C; EHE LIGHT™ cures the adhesive with 395 nm UV light at room temperature, in 6 to 8 seconds per side. The UV bond is designed to be flat and discreet, particularly in fine, visible areas.
Can I use a nail lamp for UV extensions?
No. Nail lamps are not designed to be used on hair or near the scalp. Use the EHE LIGHT™ device and adhesive, which are formulated to work together.
