Why no heat?
Traditional keratin adhesives are applied at between 160°C and 200°C. At these temperatures, the disulphide bonds in the hair can break, the cuticle layer is damaged and internal moisture evaporates. Over time, this leads to brittleness and cumulative breakage. UV curing removes this risk entirely: the adhesive hardens at room temperature, preserving the structural integrity of the hair.
